Liga Endesa reaches its third matchday following an intense European week, with three unbeaten teams leading the way: Kosner Baskonia, Río Breogán, and Real Madrid. At the bottom, Unicaja and Kids&Us Manresa remain winless in the league, though both earned European victories this week. The highlight comes Sunday night: Barcelona vs. Valencia Basket, a rematch of last season's final.
Saturday, October 10
Leyma Coruña - Casademont Zaragoza · 18:00 · DAZN and Movistar Plus+
Two teams with 1-1 records that have had very different starts. Leyma Coruña suffered a 119-72 defeat at the Palau but bounced back in their home opener, beating Surne Bilbao in overtime (104-101), with Caio Pacheco taking charge after Alonzo Verge fouled out. Casademont Zaragoza won in Tenerife with a Justin Jaworski basket in the final seconds, then lost at home to Valencia Basket. Jaworski, averaging 18.5 points, is the league's seventh-leading scorer and the main threat to the Coliseum's defense. Last season, each team won on their home court.
Unicaja - MoraBanc Andorra · 19:30 · DAZN and Movistar Plus+
Unicaja is the big name in trouble to start: 0-2 in Liga Endesa, with a two-point loss to Real Madrid and another home defeat to La Laguna Tenerife. But they arrive with momentum from their European debut, a 69-105 victory in Lithuania with Willy Hernangómez posting 23 points and a 32 efficiency rating. Facing them is MoraBanc Andorra with just one game played (their Matchday 2 clash against Asisa Joventut was postponed to October 14), which they lost at home after leading Monbus Obradoiro by 13. A warning for Txus Vidorreta's team: MoraBanc Andorra's last visit to Málaga in the league ended in a 98-74 victory for the Andorrans in November 2025.
Río Breogán - FIATC Girona · 21:00 · DAZN and Movistar Plus+
Río Breogán is the big surprise of the season: 2-0, with 110 points against Asisa Joventut and 101 in Manresa, with Mavra commanding the offense. Luis Casimiro's team had only started this way five times in their history. FIATC Girona arrives with confidence from their European debut (87-75 over Dinamo Bucharest), but still stinging from the 118-78 loss in Vitoria, and with a shooting problem: three straight games below 30% from three-point range. Watch the history: FIATC Girona won both matchups against Río Breogán last season, the last one by 23 points.

Monbus Obradoiro - iLERNA Lleida · 12:00 · DAZN, TVG, and Movistar Plus+
A clash between two 1-1 teams, tenth against eleventh, in a game broadcast free-to-air by TVG. Monbus Obradoiro won in Andorra after rallying from 13 down and then battled Real Madrid at Fontes do Sar into overtime (107-114). iLERNA Lleida won at the Fonteta in the first matchday (100-105) with 23 points from James Batemon, but collapsed at home against Burgos with a 29-38 fourth quarter, and remains without Atoumane Diagne, sidelined for the season. Sportsbooks favor Obradoiro (1.46 odds versus 2.50), with roughly 63% probability. The key will be in the paint and at the free-throw line: Batemon made 16 of 17 in Valencia.
Real Madrid - Kids&Us Manresa · 12:00 · DAZN, TV3/3Cat, and Movistar Plus+
Real Madrid arrives with relief after finally opening their European account against Partizan (86-76) and sitting at 2-0 in Liga Endesa. They face the league's last-place team, Kids&Us Manresa, who lost both league games but finally won Wednesday in the Eurocup against Ulm (101-89), with 30 points from Timmy Allen. On paper, it's the most lopsided matchup of the round, but Manresa knows what it takes to win in Madrid: they did it in March 2024 (72-83).
UCAM Murcia - La Laguna Tenerife · 12:30 · DAZN and Movistar Plus+
Two 1-1 teams with opposite European weeks. Sito Alonso's UCAM Murcia upset Barcelona on Matchday 2 and dominated Varese in the BCL (85-58), with a defense that held the Italians to 27% from the field. La Laguna Tenerife won at the Carpena but lost Tuesday in London (89-77) with major problems containing interior play and managing fouls. The head-to-head favors the Canarians, who have won the last four matchups, two of them by one and two points.
Kosner Baskonia - Asisa Joventut · 17:00 · DAZN and Vamos 2
The leader hosts a rival with unfinished business. Kosner Baskonia is the only team with a clearly positive point differential: they won in Burgos by one and dominated FIATC Girona (118-78). But they arrive with little rest, playing Friday at home against Besiktas in the EuroLeague. Asisa Joventut, with a game in hand, lost in Lugo in their opener and bounced back in the BCL against Bnei Herzliya (86-75). There's recent history between them: they met in last June's playoffs, and the last matchup was an 82-63 victory for Penya in Badalona.
Surne Bilbao - Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos · 18:00 · DAZN and Movistar Plus+
Fifth against sixth, both at 1-1. Jaume Ponsarnau's Surne Bilbao won convincingly against Manresa, lost in overtime in A Coruña, and won Tuesday in Bosnia (79-92) in the BCL. Porfirio Fisac's Burgos struggled in the Eurocup Wednesday in Salonica (93-80), but in Liga Endesa they come off a win in Lleida with a dominant fourth quarter, with DJ Steward and Chase Audige each scoring 20 points. Last year, in their first meeting, Bilbao won at home (95-85).
Barcelona - Valencia Basket · 19:00 · DAZN and Movistar Plus+
The matchday's marquee game, and a rematch. Barcelona and Valencia Basket faced off in last June's championship series, which Valencia Basket won by taking Game 5 at the Palau (80-88) on June 22. Four months later, both teams arrive at 1-1 in Liga Endesa, but with very different vibes in Europe. Xavi Albert's Valencia Basket is unbeaten in the EuroLeague (4-0) after beating Hapoel Tel Aviv on Thursday, matching their best-ever start. Sekulic's Barcelona, who put up 119 points against Leyma Coruña but lost in Murcia, plays Zalgiris Kaunas on Friday and will have less rest. Both at the Palau and at the Fonteta, Valencia Basket has won three of the last four matchups.
Key Storylines of the Round
The European calendar weighs heavy again. Kosner Baskonia and Barcelona play Friday night and will have barely 48 hours before Sunday's games, while their opponents, Asisa Joventut and Valencia Basket, played Tuesday and Thursday. Unicaja and Kids&Us Manresa need a win to avoid falling behind early, and Río Breogán has a chance to stay in the upper half against FIATC Girona, a team they've dominated recently.
