jun 12 2026Lluís Costa will continue with Coviran Granada next season. The 33-year-old Catalan point guard has extended his contract with the Granada club and will wear the red-and-black jersey in Primera FEB. The base will complete his sixth season in the city of the Alhambra, two of them in the category to which he is returning and nearly three in the Liga Endesa.
Costa arrived at Coviran Granada on June 27, 2020, and from his arrival in the city became a fundamental piece for head coach Pablo Pin, as he became the extension of the Granada coach on the court to dominate Primera FEB during two seasons in which he played his best basketball and led the long-awaited promotion to the Liga Endesa.
In Europe's top domestic competition, the San Just Desvern native once again displayed his best tricks to allow Coviran Granada to secure two dramatic last-minute stays in the league following victories over Asisa Joventut and Dreamland Gran Canaria.
After leaving for La Laguna Tenerife for one season and the beginning of the next, Lluís Costa answered Coviran Granada's call in October to share point guard duties with Jonathan Rousselle.
The Catalan played 71 games with the red-and-black squad in Primera FEB, a category in which he averaged 12.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and a rating of 14, which allowed Coviran Granada to finish in first place in the competition for two consecutive seasons.
Lluís Costa will once again put his quality and experience at the service of Coviran Granada in a competition in which he has several promotions to his name.
