The Croatian power forward was instrumental in Covirán Granada's victory, posting a 35 rating. Along with the win, he earns his second Player of the Matchday honor of the season and his career in the Liga Endesa
Two weeks after shining against BAXI Manresa, Luka Bozic didn't disappoint this Saturday. Leading another home victory for Covirán Granada, the Croatian power forward matched his career-high rating of 35 in another dominant performance that earned him the Player of Matchday 24 designation.
This is the second recognition the Granada interior has won this season and in his Liga Endesa career, following his first award in that matchup against the Bages squad in Matchday 22.
On this occasion, Bozic proved essential against Hiopos Lleida, a team that fought until the final second but couldn't contain the player born in Bjelovar, Croatia—a key piece in the schemes deployed by Covirán Granada head coach Arturo Ruiz.
Luka Bozic spent more than 35 minutes on the court at the Palacio de Deportes de Granada (35:19), becoming a nightmare for the opposing defense. During this time, he became the game's leading scorer with 25 points on 4-of-6 two-pointers (67%), 2-of-5 from three (40%), and 11-of-12 from the free throw line (92%).
He was equally dominant on the boards, leading the game in rebounds with 7 defensive boards.
On offense, he completed his outstanding contribution with 4 assists that translated into 10 additional points for Covirán Granada's total.
With 1 steal and 8 fouls drawn, Luka Bozic closed out the stat sheet for one of his best games in the Liga Endesa.
