Matt Costello has found his next destination. The Chiba Jets have officially announced the signing of the center for the 2026/27 season, where he will play in the Japanese league.
Costello arrives after completing his stint at Valencia Basket, where he was an important piece due to his experience, physicality, and interior versatility. His Ivorian passport also made him a highly sought-after profile in the European market.
In Japan, he will work under Adrián Kovacs, formerly an assistant coach at Valencia Basket, who is beginning this new chapter leading the Japanese club.
