Monbus Obradoiro and Leyma Coruña will compete in the Liga Endesa 2026-27 after both clubs were admitted as ACB members at the Association's General Assembly

The ACB General Assembly has approved the admission of Obradoiro CAB and Club Básquet Coruña SAD as ACB members. In this way, Monbus Obradoiro and Leyma Coruña will compete in the Liga Endesa 2026-27.

Monbus Obradoiro secured promotion by winning the Primera FEB championship last May, finishing first in the regular season. With this achievement, the Galician club returns to the Liga Endesa two years later, continuing to write its history in the elite of Spanish basketball, where it previously competed for 13 seasons.

For their part, Leyma Coruña earned promotion by defeating Movistar Estudiantes in the decisive game of the Primera FEB Final Four held in early June at the Coliseum in Coruña. Carles Marco's team staged an epic comeback against the Madrid side, allowing them to celebrate their return to the Liga Endesa alongside their fans just one year after losing the category and after competing in that competition for the first time during the 2024-2025 season.
