NBA: Luka Doncic Injured in Lakers' Blowout Loss to Thunder

Oklahoma City Thunder dominated Los Angeles Lakers in a game marred by Luka Doncic's injury, as the Slovenian star left the game in the third quarter with a left leg muscle issue during this NBA matchup.

The Slovenian point guard, one of the Lakers' primary offensive weapons this season, suffered the injury while attempting to drive to the basket. Doncic fell to the floor unable to put weight on his left leg and remained down for several moments before heading to the locker room with visible signs of pain.

The Lakers later confirmed that the player is dealing with left hamstring tightness, a situation that raises concerns for the team just weeks before the start of the NBA playoffs.

According to ESPN, Doncic will undergo an MRI to determine the full extent of the injury. It's worth noting that the player needs to play at least one more game to reach 65 games played this season, which would make him eligible for annual awards.

Doncic's absence proved to be the final blow for a Lakers team unable to compete with the Thunder's offensive pace, as Oklahoma City dominated the game convincingly to secure one of its most dominant victories of the season.
