Nico Brussino Returns to Zaragoza After Five Years

Por ·

Nico Brussino returns to Casademont Zaragoza after five years away. The Argentine small forward will wear the red-and-white jersey again following a deal in which the Aragonese club will pay Gran Canaria a fee to release him from his contract.

Brussino did not want to play in Primera FEB, so his departure from the Canary Islands club was an option on the table. La Laguna Tenerife also considered signing him, but ultimately decided not to assume the cost of the operation.

The Argentine also had the possibility of moving to Turkey on the table, although that option did not fully convince him. Zaragoza has taken advantage of the situation and recovers a player who already knows the organization and who can play an important role in the new project.

Brussino's return represents a significant reinforcement for the Zaragoza perimeter: experience, outside shooting, offensive quality, and knowledge of the Liga Endesa.
