Nikola Maric Renews with Bàsquet Girona

The Girona club secures the continuity of Nikola Maric for one more season. The Bosnian power forward averages 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 6.9 rating credits in 20 Liga Endesa games

Nikola Maric (Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina; 19/12/1998) renews for one more season with Bàsquet Girona. The Bosnian center, standing 2.06 meters tall, arrived from KK Igokea, the team with which he had competed in recent seasons in the Adriatic League.

Maric began his basketball career at KK Leotar Trebinje. Subsequently, he played two seasons in Joventut's youth categories (cadet and junior) before signing with Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, where he competed with the junior team and reserve squad in the Liga EBA. Later, he joined MoraBanc Andorra's reserve team for two seasons and made his Liga Endesa debut in the 2016-2017 season in a game against Valencia Basket.

This season, in the 20 games he played with the Girona squad, he registered an average of 7.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in nearly 12 minutes of play per game.
