Official: Shane Larkin Crosses Istanbul to Join Fenerbahce

Shane Larkin switches Turkish giants. The point guard leaves behind his historic stint at Anadolu Efes and signs with Fenerbahce for the next two seasons.

The move carries significant symbolic weight. Larkin doesn't just leave Efes, but moves to Istanbul's biggest rival after eight years with the club, where he won two EuroLeague titles, three Turkish league championships, and became one of the major figures in European competition.

Last season was marked by injuries, but even so he posted impressive numbers when able to play. In the 2025/26 EuroLeague, he appeared in just 12 games, averaging 15.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.

For Fenerbahce, his signing is a massive coup. Saras Jasikevicius adds a point guard with talent, experience, scoring ability, and a winning mentality to a team looking to compete for the EuroLeague title.

Larkin, European champion in 2021 and 2022 with Efes, now opens a new chapter in the same city, but wearing different colors. A signing that moves the market.
