Olympiacos capped off a historic season with a new title. Georgios Bartzokas's team claimed the Greek league championship after defeating Panathinaikos in Game 5 of the finals 89-85, in an intense, closely contested matchup decided in Piraeus.

The red-and-white squad, fresh off winning the EuroLeague less than a month earlier, confirmed their domestic dominance and lifted the Greek league for the second consecutive season. Evan Fournier, with 22 points, and Sasha Vezenkov, with 19, led Olympiacos to victory on a night of maximum tension. For Panathinaikos, Vassilis Toliopoulos's 21 points were not enough to change the outcome, while TJ Shorts contributed 12.

Olympiacos came out strong and set the tone from the opening quarter with a 26-17 run. Panathinaikos tried to respond, but the accuracy of Fournier and Vezenkov allowed the home team to reach halftime with a solid lead (47-35).

The game intensified in the second half. The third quarter was marked by several stoppages, high tension, and a confrontation between Kendrick Nunn and Sasha Vezenkov. Panathinaikos managed to close the gap and kept the finals alive until the final minutes, but Olympiacos withstood the late push and finished celebrating the title in front of their home crowd.

With this victory, Olympiacos completes a double of enormous value: EuroLeague and Greek league in the same season. The club had not achieved this since the 2011/12 season, when they also defeated Panathinaikos in the national finals and won the EuroLeague in Istanbul against CSKA.
