MoraBanc Andorra has signed Owen Aquino as its first acquisition for the 2026/2027 season on a two-year deal. The 23-year-old Spanish power forward of Dominican origin, standing 2.03 meters tall, arrives from High Point University (NCAA) to begin his professional European basketball career.

Developed through Real Madrid's youth academy, Aquino has built his career in the United States, completing his college stint after playing for Liberty University and High Point. During his last season, he stood out for his physical ability, rebounding work and defensive impact, establishing himself as one of the key pieces for his team.

Aquino has also represented Spain at youth international level, winning the European U16 championship in 2019.

MoraBanc Andorra's sporting director Jordi Ardèvol commented on the signing: "The main reason we decided to bring in Owen Aquino was because he fit the profile of a growing player with room for improvement and strong potential. Over his recent years in the United States, his game has evolved in different aspects, both physically and in character. In the LEB Endesa, we hope that the ambition he brings will help us improve."
