Parra and Brizuela Lead Barcelona Past Breogán (99-91)

Barcelona had to wait until the fourth quarter to overcome Río Breogán, who gave them a tough fight for 30 minutes at the Palau. Aleksander Sekulić's team turned the ball over 24 times but dominated near the basket and found their two Spanish scorers, Joel Parra and Darío Brizuela, down the stretch. It's their seventh consecutive victory across the Liga Endesa and EuroLeague, improving to 5-2 in the league.

Breogán Leads at Halftime
Breogán arrived as the league's second-leading scoring team and showed it from the opening tip. Barcelona won the first quarter (23-20), but in the second the Galicians turned it around with 20 points to Barcelona's 16, heading into halftime ahead (39-40).

Djordje Branković and Mavra were the most accurate for Luis Casimiro's squad.
The third quarter was fast-paced and wide open: 30 points for each team, with Olek Balcerowski punishing Barcelona in the paint and Ruben Bolton running the offense for Breogán. The visitors entered the fourth quarter with a one-point advantage (69-70).

Fourth Quarter Belongs to Barcelona
In the final ten minutes, Barcelona imposed their interior game and accuracy from two-point range: they finished the game 30 of 41 from two. Parra and Brizuela added crucial points down the stretch, while Breogán, who had maintained their scoring pace through three quarters, managed just 21 points in the fourth. The 30-21 fourth quarter decided a game in which neither team ever pulled away on the scoreboard.

Parra and Brizuela's 16 points each were complemented by Balcerowski's 14 and Tyrese Martin's double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists, with a rating of 22). For Breogán, Tevin Brown played despite arriving as questionable and scored 15, the same as Branković. Mavra added 12 points and 5 assists, and Amida Brimah made his debut with 5 points in seven minutes.
