The game turned physical early, with both teams entering the bonus and Paris caught in the grinding defensive battle imposed by the visitors.
The Serbs chipped away at the deficit until taking the lead for the first time with twenty seconds left in the half (41-40). Then came the dagger: Arijan Lakic hit a three-pointer from beyond the arc at the buzzer that silenced the arena and sent both teams to the locker room at 40-44.

No answer after the break
Paris couldn't reverse the trend. Nadir Hifi tried to use his speed to spark the offense and disrupt the Serbian defense, but the physical intensity of the visitors took its toll.
There was a moment of parity in the third quarter when Hifi himself tied the game, but Tanaskovic answered immediately to restore Partizan's lead (60-63).
The fourth quarter opened with the decisive blow: the Serbs opened a twelve-point gap, the largest of the game, and never let go.

Carlik Jones led Partizan with 20 points, following up another strong performance after his 20 points and 10 assists in the season opener against Olimpia Milano.
