The Belgrade club signs experienced American center on two-year deal following successful stint with AS Monaco.
Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade has announced its first summer signing. The Serbian club has secured Kevarrius Hayes, a 29-year-old center standing 2.06 meters tall, on a two-year contract.
Hayes arrives in Belgrade after winning all four domestic titles during his last campaign with AS Monaco: French League, French Cup, League Cup, and Super Cup. The Monegasque club also reached the EuroLeague playoffs.
The American big man appeared in 40 games in the top continental competition during the 2025/26 season, averaging 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds—1.7 offensive—primarily in a reserve role. In the French league, he elevated his numbers to 6.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game.
Partizan thus adds physical presence, intimidation, and rebounding prowess near the basket. Hayes brings 169 EuroLeague games of experience, having worn the jerseys of ASVEL Villeurbanne, Zalgiris Kaunas, Paris Basketball, and AS Monaco.
His European career is also marked by an impressive trophy collection. Before joining Monaco, he helped Paris Basketball win the French League and Cup in the 2024/25 season, while also reaching the EuroLeague playoffs in the Parisian club's inaugural tournament appearance.
Previously, he won the French double with ASVEL in 2021 and captured one Lithuanian League title and two Lithuanian Cups during his time at Zalgiris. He was also part of the Bursaspor squad that shocked European basketball by reaching the EuroCup final in 2022.
A University of Florida product, Hayes began his professional career in 2019 with Italian side Cantù. Now he faces a new chapter in Belgrade as one of the pieces aimed at strengthening Partizan's frontcourt.
