Raulzinho Neto has found a new home on the other side of the world. The 34-year-old Brazilian point guard has signed with the Brisbane Bullets of the Australian NBL, who were seeking a replacement following Arnas Velicka's injury. "I was looking for a place where I could compete at a high level while preparing for the national team," he explained at his presentation. "The NBL is a very competitive league and a new challenge for me. I'm excited about the opportunity."
He arrives in Australia after a season that restored his prominence in the Liga Endesa. With Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos, which signed him to secure the team's survival, he was one of the key pieces in their salvation: 10.5 points, 4 assists, and 11.7 efficiency rating in 31 games, with a notable 40.7% from three-point range. Along the way, he also surpassed 500 assists in the ACB.

That season in Burgos was also a way to bounce back from his time at Barcelona. The Blaugrana brought him in November 2024 to cover the lengthy injury of Nico Laprovittola, but his stint lasted just two months: a couple of muscle injuries led to his departure in January.
His connection to Spanish basketball runs deep. Neto developed as a professional in Spain, where he played three seasons with Gipuzkoa Basket and another with UCAM Murcia before making the jump to the NBA. There, after being selected 47th overall in the 2013 draft, he played eight seasons and 435 games with the Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Washington Wizards, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
