Red Star Meridianbet Belgrade has officially announced the signing of Chris Jones, an American point guard with Armenian passport, who has signed with the Serbian club for the next two seasons.

At 33 years old, Jones arrives to strengthen the playmaking duties of the Balkan team and bring proven experience in the EuroLeague. The guard comes from Hapoel Tel Aviv, where last season he averaged 10.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists in just over 20 minutes per game.

His performance was even more impressive in the playoffs, especially in the series against Real Madrid, in which he elevated his numbers to 13.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.

Red Star's new player has an extensive track record in Europe's top competition. Before his stint with Hapoel, he played for Valencia Basket, ASVEL Villeurbanne and Maccabi Tel Aviv, establishing himself as a reliable, competitive point guard capable of taking on responsibilities in demanding scenarios.

With his arrival, Red Star adds a veteran piece with proven credentials for its perimeter, in a move that strengthens the club's ambitions for the upcoming season.
