Jaden Shackelford (14/02/2001, California, United States) joins Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos as reinforcement for the final stretch of the Liga Endesa ACB season. The 1.90m American shooting guard stands out for his scoring potential from beyond the arc, where he has maintained a shooting percentage above 30% throughout his career.
The player launched his professional career in the NCAA, the American college basketball league, competing for Alabama Crimson Tide between 2019 and 2022, from where he made the jump to Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA G League, posting solid statistical averages over two seasons.
In the 2024/25 season, Shackelford signed with Valley Suns, where he has remained in the NBA's development league over two seasons, with a stint in the previous campaign with Osos de Manatí (Puerto Rico).
At the start of the current season, the American was part of the NBA G League United that played in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup final against Unicaja, with a Málaga victory (71-61). Alongside his G League team, Shackelford has averaged 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game, with a 35.8% three-point shooting percentage.
