The player, with Liga Endesa experience, joins the squad coached by Porfi Fisac for the upcoming season
Sekou Doumbouya (12/23/2000, Conakry, Guinea) has joined Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos to compete in the 2026/27 Liga Endesa season. The 2.06m center brings experience in the domestic league, where he competed for one season with MoraBanc Andorra.
The player began his professional career in France, where he was part of Pôle France, Poitiers, and Limoges CSP, in a period that extended from 2015 to 2019. It was then that Doumbouya made the jump to the United States, where he competed in the G League with Grand Rapids Drive and with the Detroit Pistons in the NBA.
In the 2021/22 season, the Guinean continued in the United States combining his participation with the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA and the South Bay Lakers in the G League. In the following season, he joined Delaware Blue Coats, also in the development league.
After his time in the United States, the center returned to France, where he played one season with Chorale Roanne in the top division, before signing with MoraBanc Andorra, where he averaged 11.3 points and 4.5 rebounds for a 10.1 efficiency rating in Liga Endesa in the 2024/25 season. In the past season, the player competed in Japan with Koshigaya Alphas.
