Tarık Biberović on Verge of Signing with Dallas Mavericks

Tarık Biberović is close to making the jump to the NBA. According to Meridian Sport, the Turkish wing is on the verge of becoming a new Dallas Mavericks player after the Texas franchise recently acquired his rights.

Dallas's interest is not new. The Mavericks were already preparing a significant offer for the player, and now the deal appears to have entered its final phase. According to the latest information, only Biberović's signature is needed for the agreement to be completed.

The 24-year-old wing comes off playing the 2025/26 season with Fenerbahçe, the club he joined in 2018 and where he has established himself as an important piece. In the latest EuroLeague season, he averaged 11.3 points per game, standing out especially for his 41.9% from three-point range, a figure that explains the appeal of his profile for the NBA.

His arrival in Dallas would add size, outside shooting, and projection to the Mavericks' wing rotation. Biberović is a player capable of punishing from the perimeter, spacing the floor, and contributing points without needing a high volume of touches.

If the deal goes through, the Turkish international would end an eight-season stint with Fenerbahçe to begin a new adventure in the NBA. Dallas, for its part, would add another European talent to a project that continues to look closely at the international market.
