Tomás Dimsa Joins Leyma Coruña as Versatile Perimeter Threat

Leyma Coruña continues strengthening its roster for its second Liga Endesa season with the signing of Tomás Dimsa (Kaunas, Lithuania, 1994). The 1.96-meter point guard is an international player with extensive European basketball experience across top leagues, EuroLeague, BCL, and EuroCup, and is familiar with Liga Endesa after stints with Gran Canaria and Zaragoza.

Developed through Žalgiris Kaunas' youth system, Tomás changed course in the 2015-2016 season, signing with Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt. After one campaign, he returned to his home country to join Vytautas Prienai. Following that experience, he moved to Italy, specifically to Juventus-LKSK Utenos. The following season he returned to Lithuania with Panevėžys Lietkabelis, and a year later rejoined Žalgiris, but limited playing time prompted a move to Liga Endesa with Gran Canaria. After his stint on the island, he returned to Italy, specifically to Treviso Basket, just before heading home. He spent time at Žalgiris between 2022 and 2024, competing in the regular season and EuroLeague. In February 2025 he signed with Zaragoza in Liga Endesa. Last season he played for PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece, averaging 11.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in the regular season and 10.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in the EuroCup.

Tomás is a high-quality point guard who stands out especially for his three-point shooting, but also possesses a wealth of offensive resources: one-on-one play, spot-up shooting, catch-and-shoot opportunities, pick-and-roll execution, and excellent finishing ability with strong passing skills, all of which make him a major threat to opponents. He is a tall point guard with good athleticism and capable of defending smaller opponents.

Welcome to the club and to A Coruña, Tomás!
