Valencia Basket dominated the first semifinal matchup from the start, but Casademont Zaragoza refused to surrender, rallying from a 17-point deficit to keep the game competitive until the final moments. Helena Pueyo's leadership proved decisive in securing the orange team's first final appearance under head coach Javier Torralba.
It has not been an easy task for Valencia Basket to reach the LF Endesa Supercopa Final, but as could be anticipated, the orange team was able to achieve its first objective of the season thanks to its strong performance in the most critical moments of the game.
The Torrubia squad began the matchup in control from the opening minutes, with Elena Buenavida setting the pace from the point guard position, allowing them to build leads close to double digits. This early dominance brought the debuts of Isa Hernández and Amelia Alonso for the team against a Casademont Zaragoza that refused to back down, gradually closing the gap (14-22). It was at the start of the second quarter when Valencia Basket appeared most comfortable, continuing to grow in the game and reaching a 17-point lead to send a clear message to Casademont, where Mariona Ortiz did everything in her power to bring her team back into contention by halftime.
That grinding effort continued after the break, with Laia Flores emerging as the next key protagonist, delivering two consecutive plays that would swing the momentum in the final stretch of the third quarter, leaving everything up in the air (57-58). The game then reached its most decisive phase, where Valencia Basket would need to deliver its best basketball once again to recover its advantages. This time, led by Helena Pueyo, a former player returning to the team, who proved crucial in providing the final push toward victory (73-84).
The result sent the Valencia squad to the final, where they will compete for their fourth championship crown.
