After an even first half, the visitors broke open the game in the third quarter with a crucial run and managed the final comeback attempt by Burgos, who got within four points but could not complete the rally.

Burgos took the initiative in the first quarter, supported by Gudmundsson, Corbalán and Dani Díez, building a lead of up to eight points (21-13), catching Valencia Basket off guard as they struggled to find their rhythm.

However, the team coached by Pedro Martínez responded before halftime with Reuvers cutting into the deficit (22-15).

The second quarter was clearly dominated by the visitors, and with a 0-14 run led by De Larrea and Pradilla, the Valencians turned the score around (22-28).

Still, Burgos reacted in the final stretch with Meindl and Samuels to regain the lead momentarily and tie the game at halftime with a basket by Taboada (38-38).

After the break, San Pablo Burgos and Valencia Basket remained even in the opening minutes, with Fischer and Sako exchanging baskets and Corbalán keeping the home team afloat.

However, Valencia struck again with a new run led by Badio, De Larrea and Moore, which opened a significant gap midway through the third quarter (49-61).

Burgos found no offensive rhythm and was overwhelmed by the visitors' outside shooting and intensity, who extended their lead to 54-68 by the end of the period.

In the final quarter, Burgos tried to mount a comeback with Corbalán and Samuels as their main weapons, cutting it to 67-71 and keeping hope alive.

But Valencia managed the final minutes better: Reuvers dominated in the paint and De Larrea sealed it from the free throw line in the decisive stretch.

With Fischer's elimination by fouls in the final seconds, the visiting team closed out the game and took a hard-fought 74-79 victory, having imposed their solidity in the second half.
