Will Clyburn is close to becoming Fenerbahce's newest player. According to BasketNews, the Turkish club is advancing in negotiations with the veteran wing, who would arrive to strengthen an already talent-laden roster.
Clyburn comes off playing the 2025/26 season with Barcelona, where he averaged 13.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in EuroLeague. At 36 years old, he remains a player with scoring ability, experience, and the capacity to take on important shots in top-level competition.
His arrival would make considerable sense for Fenerbahce following the departure of Tarik Biberovic. Saras Jasikevicius's team needs to recover some of that offensive production in the perimeter positions, and Clyburn can play both small forward and power forward.
The American boasts an enormous resume in Europe. He was EuroLeague champion with CSKA Moscow in 2019 and MVP of that Final Four, and was for years one of the competition's most reliable scorers.
Fenerbahce has already made significant moves in the market and now seeks to round out its roster with experience and scoring. Clyburn is not a bet on the future, but rather a player ready to compete from day one.
