Real Madrid beat CKSA with a team exhibition (82-69)

The targets were led in attack by Randolph (16 points and 17 valuation) and Doncic (14 and 21)

Great European night that the WiZink Center experienced with the unmistakable victory of Real Madrid over CSKA Moscow in the great classic of Europe, which places him with 2-0 and inflicts the first defeat to his rival. The whites dominated from start to finish with a huge amount of defensive work, leaving the powerful Russian team 69 points. Randolph, who retired injured as well as Kuzmic, led the Madrid attack with 16 points and 17 valuation points in 20 minutes, seconded by Doncic (14,7 rebounds and 21 valuation) and a spectacular Campazzo in the final minutes.

The strategy of both coaches marked the start of the game. Laso placed Taylor over Sergio Rodriguez and Itoudis did the same with Kurbanov over Doncic. It went well for both of us. Madrid stopped Chacho and De Colo and CSKA took advantage of the superior height of the wing-pivot on the post to score. Maximum equality, which began to break the white team with his success in the triple. One of Rudy’s just after coming in after two games put inactive 20-13 before finishing a first quarter in which he suffered in the defensive rebound (20-15, min, 10).

All the parts worked
The Madrid rotation increased the intensity level on both sides of the court. He partly rectified the problem of rebounding in his hoop (Hines was still hurting with his six offensives) and never allowed CSKA to feel comfortable in attack (only two assists). Meanwhile, good minutes of Randle, which premiered before his fans, Carroll and Randolph. The North American power forward again showed his enormous talent and went 10 points in the second quarter. Madrid defended, ran and erased the Russians with 45-31 in the 19th minute. The bad news came in the form of injury to Kuzmic on his right knee, which would prevent him from returning to the game (45-33, min. 20).

The best game of the Muscovites came in the third quarter with De Colo and Chacho on the bench. Hard defense, offensive rebound and Clyburn (nine points in four minutes) as recipes to get back into the game. The low attacking white attack, partly due to their 0/6 threefold, contributed to CSKA’s recovery. Another setback for Real Madrid: Randolph, his only player inspired by this quarter (six points), was on the bench with a dislocation on his shoulder. Even so, he managed to stay up in front of the visiting thrust (56-53, min. 30).

The best defensive version
De Colo came close to a point for CSKA with 56-55 at the entrance in the last quarter. That was the turning point for the Madrid players. Without their best man, Randolph, who would not return to the game either, they were able to react in time from a magnificent defence and wasted a great deal of energy. Rudy of’ thief’, Maciulis playing Randolph in the position of four to hold Clyburn and Campazzo leading an attack that regained success in the triple (five in the final leg), Madrid showed its best face, deflating CSKA and managing a difference that surpassed ten points (82-69, min. 40). Real Madrid’s blow of authority.
