MANRESA. BAXI Manresa delivered a dominant victory over Casademont Zaragoza 101-83 at Nou Congost, leaving the Aragonese side in a precarious situation in the Liga Endesa. statistics

The game started evenly with both teams trading baskets in the opening minutes. BAXI Manresa tried to impose a fast pace and found early advantages through quick transitions and collective offensive execution.

A fast-break play by Marcis Steinbergs allowed the Catalan side to open a small gap on the scoreboard (13-9, min.5), though Casademont Zaragoza responded quickly thanks to Gabriel Olaseni's interior presence.

The visiting center provided solidity near the basket and helped keep the Aragonese team alive, closing the first quarter still very close on the scoreboard (23-21).

The momentum continued through much of the second period. BAXI Manresa continued to offer better sensations on both defense and offense, though without definitively breaking open the game.

Álex Reyes then began making a difference from beyond the arc, and one of his three-pointers allowed Diego Ocampo's team to extend their lead slightly (35-31, min.14).

Just when the Catalan side seemed ready to pull away, Devin Robinson appeared. The former BAXI Manresa player delivered a spectacular dunk to bring Casademont Zaragoza back within striking distance (41-38, min.18) and keep the game completely open heading into halftime.

Still, the home team managed to close out the first half better and went into the locker room with a 46-41 advantage.

The game changed definitively after the restart. BAXI Manresa elevated their offensive pace and found plenty of opportunities to run and punish the visiting defense.

Eli Brooks led the start of the third quarter and allowed the Catalans to quickly reach a ten-point lead (51-41). Shortly after, Agustín Ubal appeared with several high-energy plays that energized Nou Congost and pushed the margin even wider (58-44, min.25).

Casademont Zaragoza tried to respond with a 0-10 run that gave the visitors some hope, but BAXI Manresa answered immediately and regained control before the end of the third quarter (71-58).

In the final ten minutes came the knockout blow. Ferran Bassas punished from beyond the arc and the Catalan side finished breaking open the game with a lead that reached 19 points (81-62, min.33).

Casademont Zaragoza never managed to get close again and ended completely overwhelmed by BAXI Manresa's offensive pace.

Álex Reyes was the game's leading scorer with 17 points and four three-pointers, proving decisive especially in the second half. For the Aragonese side, Marco Spissu stood out with 16 points and Santi Yusta with 14.

With this victory, BAXI Manresa notches their 14th win in the Liga Endesa and continues growing in this final stretch of the season. For their part, Casademont Zaragoza sits on the brink of the relegation zone and faces the final matchdays under enormous pressure.
