BURGOS. Real Madrid will play in the Liga U final after a commanding 74-102 victory over Burgos Grupo de Santiago at El Plantío. The Madrid side silenced the home crowd with an offensive exhibition from beyond the arc and will face Barcelona in the first-ever Clásico for the competition's title.
The game started with Real Madrid making their intentions clear from the opening minute. The whites quickly found their rhythm from three-point range and began to build a lead thanks to the impact of Grinvalds and Kayser, who were inspired from deep.
Burgos Grupo de Santiago tried to resist with the support of the spectacular atmosphere at El Plantío, completely behind their team, but the Madrid side moved the ball with tremendous fluidity and punished every local defensive mistake.
With an early 12-20 lead built on three-pointers from Kayser and Grinvalds, Real Madrid began to control the pace of the game. The Burgos team reacted timidly at moments in the first half, though the white offensive talent struck back quickly.
Bjelic then appeared to extend the Madrid advantage further and reach 21-35, which began to bring Javi Juárez's team closer to the Liga U final.

Despite this, Real Madrid maintained control of the game and reached halftime with a solid lead and better feelings on both ends of the floor.
In the second half, Joaquín Taboada tried to sustain the Burgos team with several high-quality plays. The Uruguayan wing again demonstrated his talent and allowed Burgos to get as close as 55-64 in one of the most delicate moments for the Madrid side.
But each local comeback found an immediate response from beyond the arc. Kayser and Grinvalds punished again with decisive three-pointers that cooled any comeback attempt from the home team.
The final quarter definitively broke the game open. Real Madrid elevated the offensive pace even further and Bjelic essentially sealed the game with six consecutive points that completely silenced El Plantío.
From there, Javi Juárez's team completely dominated the final stretch and finished with a spectacular offensive display, closing the game with an impressive 18 of 32 from three-point range.
Bjelic was Real Madrid's leading scorer with 24 points, while Kayser added 22. Amosov contributed 17 and Grinvalds added another 15 in a collective three-point shooting clinic. For Burgos Grupo de Santiago, Joaquín Taboada stood out with 17 points.
Real Madrid also played the game without Izan Almansa, who was with the first team due to injury problems caused by the absences of Tavares and Len.
With this victory, Real Madrid will play in the inaugural Liga U final against Barcelona in a Clásico that will decide the first champion in the competition's history.
