Hiopos Lleida started the game competing offensively, but defensive problems quickly emerged against a completely unleashed Río Breogán. The Galicians opened with an impressive 8-of-10 shooting performance and continuously punished the visitors from beyond the arc.

The first serious warning came with a home lead of eight points (20-12), forcing Gerard Encuentra to call a timeout. The coach was looking to slow down Río Breogán's offensive rhythm, but the home team continued finding solutions on every possession.

Five three-pointers made by the Galician squad in the first quarter made the difference against a Hiopos Lleida team that couldn't find their outside stroke. A remarkable reverse layup by Alonso off the glass energized the crowd and allowed Río Breogán to close the first period with a commanding 35-26.

The second quarter proved decisive for the game's outcome. Río Breogán elevated their offensive level even further and put together a devastating 28-12 run that completely broke the Catalan team. Luis Casimiro's squad found open shots with ease and moved the ball with precision to dismantle the visiting defense.

At that point, the Galician team had already accumulated a spectacular 9-of-14 from three-point range and dominated the game with absolute authority. Cook and Kurucs led the offensive production alongside an inspired Alonso, while Croatian Mavra controlled the game's tempo with clarity from the point guard position.

Hiopos Lleida tried to respond after halftime, but Río Breogán's offensive festival had no limits. The Galicians reached a 29-point advantage (79-50), forcing Gerard Encuentra to try a 2-3 zone defense to attempt to alter the game's dynamics.

Nothing worked against a completely hot Río Breogán. The Lugo-based squad even reached a 30-point lead (84-54) in the middle of the third quarter, putting the game away well before the final period.

Although Hiopos Lleida continued competing and tried to make the scoreboard look better in the final period, momentarily cutting the deficit to 19 points (92-73), Río Breogán accelerated again to prevent any visiting comeback.

Luis Casimiro's squad finished delivering a historic offensive performance, equaling their second-highest scoring total in ACB history and also breaking their competition record for assists with a total of 30.

Six Río Breogán players finished in double figures. Alonso led the attack with 20 points, while Cook added 16, Apic contributed 15, and Kurucs provided 14 more. Toni Mavra orchestrated the offensive display with eight assists. For Hiopos Lleida, Cameron Krutwig was the standout with 16 points, four rebounds, and a rating of 23.

Despite the heavy defeat, Hiopos Lleida still maintains a two-win cushion over the relegation zone with three games remaining in Liga Endesa. Meanwhile, Río Breogán continues to show great offensive form in the final stretch of the championship.
