jul 11 2026Río Breogán has completed its roster for the 2026/27 season with the signing of Andersson García, a 6'7" Dominican small forward who joins the Lugo club after competing in the NBA G League last season.
García, 25, impressed with the Capitanes de Ciudad de México thanks to his physical abilities, defense, and especially his rebounding performance. Before receiving a 10-day contract opportunity with the Utah Jazz, he averaged 10.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.4 steals across 35 G League games.
The new Breogán player can play as a small forward or power forward and will bring energy, defensive versatility, and rebounding on both ends of the floor. His arrival fills the final piece the team needed in the paint and allows the squad coached by Luis Casimiro to complete its roster for the upcoming season.
With Andersson García, Río Breogán adds a physical and different profile to face a demanding 2026/27 Liga Endesa campaign.
