Braxton Key Signs with Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce has officially announced the signing of Braxton Key for the next two seasons. The American small forward arrives from Valencia Basket, where he was a key piece in the historic orange team's qualification for the EuroLeague 2026 Final Four.

Key landed in Valencia during the season and quickly earned a significant role. In EuroLeague, he averaged 6.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 34 games, but his impact grew especially in the decisive stretch.

In the playoff series against Panathinaikos, he posted 10.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. And in the Final Four semifinal against Real Madrid, he stepped up again with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

For Fenerbahce, his arrival means adding defense, physicality and competitive character on the perimeter. It's not a signing that makes headlines offensively, but rather a very useful player for big games, capable of defending multiple positions and contributing without needing much ball handling.

The 2025 European champion thus strengthens its roster with one of the names that grew the most in the last EuroLeague season.
