Caleb Agada Joins Monbus Obradoiro

The Nigerian international arrives in Santiago after spending last season in the Liga Endesa with Hiopos Lleida and following a solid career in European and international basketball.

Monbus Obradoiro adds Caleb Agada (31 years old, 1.93m) to its roster, a versatile player who can play both point guard and shooting guard positions and will strengthen the outside game of the Santiago-based team.

The Canadian-born guard with Nigerian nationality has experience in Spanish basketball since his arrival at CB Prat in the 2017/18 season, then in LEB Oro. He subsequently wore the Melilla Ciudad del Deporte jersey for two seasons before beginning an international career that took him to compete in different leagues.

During that journey he has played in Israel, Australia, Latvia, the VTB United League and Libya, where he won the Basketball Africa League championship with Al Ahly Tripoli.

Last season he made the jump to the Liga Endesa with Hiopos Lleida. In his debut in Spain's top basketball division, he played all 34 games of the season, averaging 7.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

On the international stage, Agada competed with the African team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and was instrumental in Nigeria's historic victory over the United States.

From Monbus Obradoiro we welcome Caleb Agada and wish him great success in this new chapter in Santiago de Compostela.
