Cameron Hunt was relentless at Nou Congost. The Unicaja shooting guard scored 31 points, the game's best individual performance, and guided his team to a 72-84 victory that improves them to 2-2 and deepens Kids&Us Manresa's struggles, still winless after four matchdays. Txus Vidorreta's team controlled the game in the first half and successfully contained the home team's second-half comeback attempt.
Unicaja in Command from the Start
The Málaga side came out with a clear game plan, and Hunt set the tone with the game's first three-pointer. Kendrick Perry found his teammate on the fast break, and Tyler Kalinoski opened his account from beyond the arc to make it 10-17, the first quarter's largest lead, which ended 16-22.
The second quarter belonged to Unicaja. Hunt and a three-pointer from Simonas Lukosius extended the lead beyond ten points (16-27), and Manresa lost its composure: technical fouls were called on Yordan Minchev, Ferran Bassas, and Diego Ocampo on the bench. The visitors capitalized on the confusion to reach their largest lead, 18 points (30-48), before halftime at 35-48.
Oriola Leads the Comeback Bid
Hunt opened the second half with another three-pointer (35-51), but Manresa refused to quit. Pierre Oriola, who added 11 points in the third quarter, carried his team, and three-pointers from Chinonso Agbo and JD Notae fueled a 22-16 run that cut the deficit to seven points (57-64) by the end of the period.
That was the last real threat from the home side. In the fourth quarter, Unicaja tightened their grip with Ignas Brazdeikis, Perry, and once again Hunt. The lead returned to 13 points (67-80), and one final three-pointer from the American shooting guard with 50 seconds remaining (70-83) sealed the game.

Two Contrasting Trajectories
Beyond Hunt's 31 points, Unicaja had Brazdeikis (12 points and 7 rebounds) and Augusto Noua (7 points and 11 rebounds) performing at a high level. For Manresa, Oriola (17 points, 6 rebounds, and a 21 efficiency rating) was the only player to consistently reach double-digit efficiency, well supported by Notae (13) and Hugo Benítez (12 points and 5 assists). For Vidorreta, the game also held symbolic value: he equaled Manel Comas as the fourth coach with the most games in Liga Endesa history.
