Dominik Mavra (Zadar, 1994) will complete his third season with Río Breogán. He arrived in Lugo in November 2024 and from day one became a fundamental player for the club, tasked with implementing head coach Luis Casimiro's offensive system on the court.
This season, Mavra is averaging 8.8 points (53% on 2-pointers, 32% on 3-pointers, 76% on free throws) and 5.3 assists in nearly 19 minutes per game, making him the league's third-leading assist provider.
The point guard has already entered the history books for the Breogán organization by becoming the second all-time assist leader in the club's elite-level history.
His performance has made him one of the team's leaders and a fan favorite at Pazo dos Deportes.
With Dominik Mavra's contract extension, Río Breogán takes another step in its intention to secure continuity for the 2026/27 season with a solid core of players from the current roster, which is having an excellent campaign. This renewal joins those of Francis Alonso, Aranitovic, and Andric.
