The U18 Women's National Team achieved its objective and, after defeating Serbia in the semifinals, is just one game away from finishing the job and achieving the goal of defending its title at the U18 Eurobasket. The Serbian team put Spain under pressure, but they knew how to play their cards and settled the match in the third quarter. France awaits in Sunday's final.
For the first time in the tournament, Spain found itself trailing on the scoreboard at the end of the first quarter. The 15-19 deficit activated the Spanish team, who at no point showed nervousness and brought out all their offensive and defensive arsenal to rack up a favorable 50-21 run between the second and third quarters.
