The BKT EuroCup doesn't let up. Just one week after its opening round, the competition returns, and two of the three Liga Endesa representatives can move to 2-0. La Laguna Tenerife and San Pablo Burgos won in Matchday 1. Kids&Us Manresa, meanwhile, needs to bounce back after a difficult night in Greece. All three arrive at a second matchday that, according to the competition's schedule, features all 32 teams across Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tenerife heads to London with a 1-0 record
The Canary Islands team opens the Spanish action on Tuesday at 20:30 (19:30 Canary Islands time). They arrive in London after defeating Türk Telekom 82-75 in their opener. They face a London Lions side that lost narrowly in Siauliai and remains winless.
The matchup features a clear clash of styles. The English team lives in the paint. Thomas Kennedy and Joel Scott combined to shoot 9 of 13 from two-point range in Matchday 1, and that's where they'll look to punish Tenerife. The Canary Islands team has an unusual answer: a center who plays on the perimeter. Tim Abromaitis can pull opposing big men out to the three-point line and open up the paint. If London brings its interior players out to defend him, it loses its main weapon.
Burgos-Aris: two unbeaten teams in Thessaloniki
The toughest challenge for a Spanish team this matchday comes Wednesday at 19:00. Porfi Fisac's Burgos visits Aris, and both teams arrive with 1-0 records. The Castilian side won 85-81 over Cedevita Olimpija in their return to European competition. They closed it out with DJ Steward hitting a three-pointer when the score was 80-79, finishing with 22 points in just 22 minutes.
Steward will face another high-volume shooter in Matt Morgan, and that perimeter duel could decide the game. But Aris has another weapon: the boards. They won in Le Mans with 49 rebounds, a number that forces Burgos to protect the rim well. That's where Sekou Doumbouya comes in—he made his debut with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Burgos team played its opener without Retin Obasohan and Vlatko Cancar, who underwent meniscus surgery in mid-September.

Manresa needs to respond
Kids&Us Manresa closes out the matchday Wednesday at 20:30 at Nou Congost. Their opener in Thessaloniki was tough. The Catalan team held their own for three quarters against PAOK but ultimately fell decisively to a Cedi Osman who finished with 23 points. The main problem was three-point shooting: 5 of 27 from deep. Chibuzo Agbo, who went 0 for 5, is one of those who most needs to rediscover his range.
The opponent isn't coming to hand out wins. Ulm defeated Balkan in Matchday 1 with 19 points from Ibi Watson and arrives in Manresa with the confidence of a 1-0 record. For the Catalan team, a home loss would mean starting the group phase at 0-2.
The rest of the matchday
The defending champion remains winless. Bourg fell to Napoli and hosts Tofas on Tuesday, one of the teams that impressed most in Matchday 1. Tyson Walker made his debut with 20 points and 6 steals for the French side. But they'll have to stop Bryce Jones, who against Chemnitz recorded 13 points, 6 assists, and 6 steals.
Beyond Aris-Burgos, there's another unbeaten matchup: Buducnost-Napoli in Podgorica. The Montenegrin side dominated Slask with 23 points from Juwan Morgan, his best mark as a professional. Napoli arrives fresh off a win against the defending champion.
Among title contenders, Hapoel Jerusalem visits Cedevita, Burgos's Matchday 1 opponent. Their center Kenny Lofton (22 points and 10 rebounds in his debut) will have a direct duel with David Skara. Osman's PAOK travels to Sarajevo to face Bosna, who lost on the final possession to Lietkabelis. Türk Telekom, the team Tenerife beat, hosts Maxima Roma, who won by 34 points in their opener. The Turks turned the ball over 21 times that night and will need to take much better care of the basketball.
Reyer Venezia, which put 104 points on Frankfurt, visits Cluj, the team that scored the fewest points in Matchday 1 (55). And Bulgarian Balkan plays its first-ever home game in EuroCup history, against Bahcesehir, who feature Trevion Williams (9 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists) as one of the tournament's most complete big men.
