ene 29 2026MILAN. Olimpia Milano returned to winning ways in the EuroLeague with a 85-79 victory over Partizan on Matchday 25, ending a three-game losing streak and allowing Peppe Poeta's squad to regain competitive stability in the regular season.
The Italian side controlled the game for most of the contest, finding offensive continuity and dictating play from the early stages. Zach LeDay, facing his former team, was the primary force and posted 20 points, leading Milano in crucial moments. Josh Nebo contributed 15 points in the paint and Quinn Ellis added 11, completing a balanced offensive output.
Partizan faced the game with significant absences. The Serbian squad was without captain Vanja Marinkovic, as well as Shake Milton and Duane Washington, which impacted their rotation. Still, they found answers in Sterling Brown, the visiting team's leading scorer with 17 points, followed by Cameron Payne with 16. Dylan Osetkowski finished with 14 points and Tonye Jekiri added 12, keeping their side in contention.
Milano gradually built its lead and reached a crucial moment late in the third quarter, when they connected on three consecutive three-pointers to establish a double-digit advantage (69-57). That stretch appeared decisive, but Partizan responded early in the fourth period.
A visiting run cut the deficit to just three points (71-68), bringing tension back to the game. However, Olimpia tightened its defense, found its scoring touch again, and closed out the contest with composure in the final minutes to secure the victory.
With this result, Olimpia Milano improves to 12-13 in the EuroLeague and will host Baskonia in the next matchday. Partizan Belgrade falls to 8-17 and will visit Maccabi in Tel Aviv in five days.
A necessary win for Milano, which stops its poor run, and another defeat for Partizan, which continues to accumulate difficulties in this phase of the competition.
