The game started with local initiative, but the blaugrana team reacted solidly, balanced the contest, and even took the lead on the scoreboard. For much of the matchup, the exchange was constant and the competitive pace remained high, with neither team able to open a clear gap.

The turning point came in the final period. Olympiacos elevated its defensive intensity and found offensive continuity in the decisive moments, putting together a dominant fourth quarter that ultimately tilted the game in their favor in front of their home crowd.

In that stretch, Tyrique Jones emerged as the difference-maker. The center, a former Partizan player, was decisive on both ends of the floor and finished his performance with 16 points and eight rebounds, plus posting the team's best PIR (29). In scoring, Sasha Vezenkov stood out again as the game's leading scorer with 20 points, to which he added 11 rebounds to complete a double-double.

The collective local effort was completed by Tyler Dorsey's 17 points and the return of Nikola Milutinov, who played his first game after suffering a concussion last week and contributed eight points and six rebounds.

On the visiting side, Kevin Punter was the primary offensive reference with 15 points. Dario Brizuela and Will Clyburn, who was returning from injury, added 14 each, while Jan Vesely and Tornike Shengelia contributed 12 points apiece, with Shengelia also adding eight rebounds.

With this victory, Olympiacos Piraeus strengthens its position in the EuroLeague following a high-level direct matchup, while FC Barcelona leaves empty-handed despite competing on equal terms for three quarters.

The game confirmed Olympiacos' ability to decide in crucial moments and left Barcelona without an answer to the home side's push in the final stretch.
