EuroLeague has revealed the visual identity for the 2026 Final Four in Athens, a design rich in symbolism that unites history, prestige, and modernity ahead of Europe's premier basketball event.
The new logo draws from three major symbols of Greek culture. At its center sits the EuroLeague championship trophy, integrated within a circular structure that evokes both a shield and a basketball. Inside stands a Doric column, a direct homage to Hellenic architectural tradition.
Surrounding the trophy are four olive branches, the classical symbol of victory in Ancient Greece. They also reference the myth between Poseidon and Athena, from which the city of Athens took its name. EuroLeague explains that these branches represent both the title the champion will claim and the merit of the four teams that qualify for the final phase.
The background features a design inspired by mosaics, reflecting the union between historical legacy and contemporary creativity. The composition is completed with the reference to Athens 2026 and the prominent presence of Etihad Airways as the event's principal partner.
As for colors, dark stone tones, champion gold, metallic gray, Mediterranean blue, and EuroLeague's traditional orange predominate, aiming to convey strength, prestige, and the energy inherent to the competition.
The 2026 EuroLeague Final Four will take place in Athens from May 22-24, with semifinals scheduled for Friday and the championship game on Sunday, bringing together the four best teams on the continent.
