EuroLeague: Dario Šarić Eyes Return to Europe with Focus on Continental Competition

Dario Šarić has rejoined the Croatian national team for the second qualifying window for the 2027 World Cup, at a crucial moment for his professional future. At 31 years old and currently without an NBA contract, the Croatian power forward is working toward relaunching his career in European basketball.

The player made his intentions clear when discussing a possible return to the continent. "My time with Cibona closed in 2014 when we won the ABA League, but you can never say never. Right now, my focus is on the EuroLeague: finding a team and a system that fit me and allow me to adjust after my time in the NBA," Šarić explained.

Regarding his trajectory in the United States, the power forward acknowledged a period with ups and downs. "There were good moments and others not so much. I wasn't always able to establish myself as a starter, but I'm satisfied and focused on the opportunities that may come. I hope to keep competing at the highest level, like in the EuroLeague. For now, my priority is the national team," he said.
