STANDINGS TABLE

SATURDAY, MAY 16
18:00 Unicaja - Río Breogán
🏀 The Matchup: Río Breogán must win this direct clash to keep fighting for 9th place and possibly the playoffs, while Unicaja cannot afford another loss if they want to get back into the top 8. The head-to-head record favors the Galicians by 16 points, who dominated the first meeting at the start of 2026 for both teams (98-82).

📊 The Stat: The Málaga team has won five straight home games against the Galicians. In total, they've only suffered 3 losses in 17 head-to-head meetings. The last one came in 2005 with a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Djuro Ostojic and Pete Mickeal (24 points and 8 rebounds) leading Breogán.

👤 The Protagonist: Río Breogán announced this week the renewals for next season of Francis Alonso, their most valued player in 2025-26, Mihajlo Andrić, and Aleksandar Aranitovic.

🚑 Medical Report: Ibon Navarro confirmed that Tyson Pérez and Emir Sulejmanovic are definite absences. Djedovic's participation is uncertain. Sakho is injured at Breogán.

20:00 Dreamland Gran Canaria - BAXI Manresa
🏀 The Matchup: 99% of Dreamland Gran Canaria's survival depends on winning in their final home game of the season. The island club was already able to beat BAXI Manresa in the first meeting at Nou Congost after leading on the scoreboard for 39 minutes and 54 seconds (80-87).

📊 The Stat: The Claretan club has three straight home wins against Manresa and, regarding 2025-26, has also won both of their previous home games.

👤 The Protagonist: Kaodirichi Akobundu is one dunk away from surpassing Harper Williams as the 10th all-time dunker in Liga Endesa history. The legendary power forward needed 135 games to reach 47 dunks; KAO has played 31 and is shooting 81% from the free-throw line, which if confirmed would be the best percentage in regular season history.

🚑 Medical Report: Beyond the known absence of Miquel Salvó, Néstor García will have all players available. Hugo Benitez and Louis Olinde, who are not traveling with the team, are the only Manresa absences.

21:00 Coviran Granada - La Laguna Tenerife
🏀 The Matchup: Coviran Granada says goodbye to Liga Endesa in front of their fans in the final regular season game at the Palacio. The Andalusian squad has no mathematical chance of survival.

📊 The Stat: A win could virtually clinch a playoff spot for La Laguna Tenerife, which remains unbeaten against Granada (7-0) and was already able to beat them in late 2025 (80-75). Huertas was vital that day with 29 in rating in less than 29 minutes.

👤 The Protagonist: Point guard Elvar Fridriksson, 1.83m and 31 years old, reinforces La Laguna Tenerife through the end of the season after being named MVP in Poland, averaging 13.5 points, 6.3 assists, and 17.1 rating credits with Anwil Wloclawek. He will be the first Icelander to play in Tenerife and the 10th in Liga Endesa history.

🚑 Medical Report: With Beqa Burjanadze and Jovan Kljajic injured, Arturo Ruiz will have to make a roster cut before the game, as Mehdy Ngouama has completed the week with the rest of his teammates and the Málaga coach has 13 players available for the matchup. Pending official confirmation from the black-and-gold team, in addition to the absences of Rokas Giedraitis and Aaron Doornekamp, Marcelinho Huertas is suffering an intramuscular biceps femoris tear in his left thigh. The point guard is in the hands of the club's medical and recovery services, pending evolution to rejoin the group. On the other hand, Elvar Fridriksson could make his debut.

SUNDAY, MAY 17
12:00 Surne Bilbao - Bàsquet Girona
🏀 The Matchup: Surne Bilbao's unwavering ambition has allowed the Basque club to depend on themselves in the final stretch to secure their return to the Liga Endesa playoffs 11 years later. First they host Bàsquet Girona and then they'll close the regular season at La Laguna Tenerife (7th), a direct rival.

📊 The Stat: The Men in Black raided Fontajau at the start of the year in a game where they trailed for nearly 27 minutes (89-93). Jaworski, who just hit 8 three-pointers in Valencia, was decisive with 5 made free throws in the final two minutes. No Girona team has ever won in Bilbao in Liga Endesa (0-7).

👤 The Protagonist: Moncho Fernández will coach his 500th Liga Endesa game. The Galician coach's trajectory in the competition is divided into 11 games with CB Murcia in 2009-10; 433 in 13 seasons with Monbus Obradoiro; and 55 since joining Bàsquet Girona, where he has his best winning percentage: 42% (23-32).

🚑 Medical Report: All available for the home team. For the visitors, beyond the known injury to Maxi Fjellerup, James Karnik arrives at Matchday 33 in pain due to a viral gastroenteritis that prevented him from training.

12:30 Casademont Zaragoza - UCAM Murcia
🏀 The Matchup: Survival or 2nd place, that is the question. That is the battle. Casademont Zaragoza faces a demanding stretch of two straight home games in three days against top-table teams: UCAM Murcia and Valencia Basket.

📊 The Stat: A win could be enough to seal Zaragoza's continuation in Liga Endesa for next season. On the other side, UCAM Murcia wants to test how far they can go in the best regular season in their history. The first meeting went the university team's way, although the Aragonese were close to overcoming a 24-point deficit (90-84).

👤 The Protagonist: Santi Yusta, who already leads four historical rankings for Casademont Zaragoza, can reach first place in two other statistical categories. Specifically, he needs to make 6 three-pointers to dethrone Robin Benzing and accumulate 36 rating credits to do the same to Henk Norel.

🚑 Medical Report: All available at Casademont. Dylan Ennis is out, while Sito Alonso asked for "a little patience" with Will Falk, as the Swedish shooting guard had surgery not long ago and won't be able to play for several weeks.

12:30 Hiopos Lleida - MoraBanc Andorra
🏀 The Matchup: With survival secured, Hiopos Lleida faces their final campaign game at Barris Nord looking to extend to 5 what is already their best home winning streak. However, they host a MoraBanc Andorra that urgently needs to win in their final away game and will play for survival at home against Barcelona in the final matchday. Batemon (19 points) and Golomán (15) led the Lleida win in the first meeting (79-87).

📊 The Stat: Two Andorran players can climb important positions in ACB historical rankings. Kyle Kuric is 4 three-pointers away from 15th place, surpassing Chicho Sibilio (693), while only one block separates Artem Pustovyi from taking 11th place, owned by Granger Hall (348).

🚑 Medical Report: With survival achieved, Gerard Encuentra stated he won't push any players with injuries. MoraBanc has everyone available.

18:00 Asisa Joventut - Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos
🏀 The Matchup: Both teams have their Liga Endesa objectives within reach. Asisa Joventut is officially a playoff team and has 6th place almost secured, while a win would give Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos mathematical survival.

📊 The Stat: In the first meeting, Penya needed the best versions of Tomic (39 in rating) and Hunt (35 points) to raid the Coliseum in the final minute (95-98). Happ also shined with a complete stat line: 19 points, 9 rebounds, 7 steals, 3 assists, and one block.

👤 The Protagonist: Despite having only 32 Liga Endesa games with the club, Gonzalo Corbalán is in position to climb to 9th place in Burgos' all-time rating ranking. If he collects 17 more rating credits, the Argentine will surpass Augusto Lima (543).

🚑 Medical Report: Ante Tomic remains the only green-and-black absence. All available for the Burgos team.
