This was a challenging matchup, as Javi Rodríguez's squad had won seven consecutive games. Fuenlabrada arrived with roster news, welcoming Christ Okito to the lineup after Jonathan Kasibabu was ruled out.

The first half ended 28-39. Two quarters defined by poor three-point shooting from both teams. This lack of outside accuracy weighed more heavily on Javi Rodríguez's squad, who struggled to find their offensive rhythm.
The second half opened with both teams aggressive from beyond the arc, with the home team finding success 34-45. At Fuenlabrada's lowest point, Benite appeared with 8 straight points and two three-pointers to restore distance on the scoreboard 36-55. Flexicar Fuenlabrada's offense stalled and fatigue was setting in by the end of the quarter, though they prevented Oviedo from scoring much 40-55.

Free throw exchanges from both teams favored the visitors (65-73). The exchange proved more costly for Iñaki Martín's team as they lost Mateo Díaz.
The game ended with that same scoreline in a tightly contested and entertaining matchup where the Palacio de los Deportes de Oviedo gave everything, though ultimately it wasn't enough. With this loss, Alimerka Oviedo's winning streak came to an end and Flexicar Fuenlabrada breathed easier in the playoff zone, though there is still much competition for those final spots.
