Statement from Fernando San Emeterio, Sports Director:
"Following Maxi's injury and Pep's physical issues, and considering that both play in the same position—the three—we decided to bring in a player to help us face the double competition. We want to maintain the team's momentum and prevent any player from accumulating too many minutes, especially at the start of the season, because we don't want to pay for it later. The club is making a significant effort with this signing. He's a player we've been following for a long time and had on our radar, and who, coincidentally, was available at that moment. Gregor fits well with our playing philosophy. He's a three-man with scoring ability, who can put the ball on the floor and, above all, will help us create space for our playmakers. At the same time, you'll be able to take advantage of these opportunities to complete plays. He's a good shooter and we believe he fits very well into the team model we currently have. Additionally, he has international experience and has participated in European competitions like the EuroCup. We believe he will help us maintain the team's good momentum."
