Guillem Vives Brings Domestic Experience to Casademont Zaragoza's Backcourt

Guillem Vives begins a new chapter in his career after signing a two-year deal with Casademont Zaragoza

Casademont Zaragoza has reached an agreement with Guillem Vives (33 years old, 1.92m) for the Spanish point guard to join the club's backcourt through June 2028.

Vives is one of the most experienced Spanish point guards in the Liga Endesa, with over 440 games played. Developed through Penya's academy, he made his debut with the senior team in the 2012-13 season. His emergence was immediate, and by the 2013-14 campaign he had established himself as one of Spanish basketball's brightest prospects, earning recognition as Liga Endesa's Best Young Player.

He traded the green and black for Valencia Basket's orange, where he spent seven seasons. During his time as a taronja, he won the Liga Endesa championship (2017), the Spanish Super Cup (2017), and the EuroCup (2019). In the 2021-2022 season he returned to Joventut, the club where he began his career, and with whom he also competed in the Basketball Champions League this past season.

With the Spanish National Team, Guillem was crowned European U18 champion in 2011, and with the senior squad, he repeated the European title in 2015 and earned a bronze medal at the 2017 Eurobasket.

Welcome to Zaragoza, Guillem!
