Injury Report and Updates for Liga Endesa 2026-27 Matchday 1

Yannick Kraag becomes the latest addition to the injury list ahead of the season opener. Check out all the injured players, recoveries, and doubts in the first medical report of the season!

• Asisa Joventut: In addition to the known absence of Ante Tomic, the newly crowned Supercopa Endesa champions will also be without Yannick Kraag. The Dutch player has a muscle injury in the adductor of his right leg, different from the one detected during preseason. His recovery timeline will determine when he returns.

• Barcelona: Multiple absences in the Barcelona squad. Following the absences of Yoan Makoundou (his left knee patellar tendinopathy worsened and he will be out for approximately one month) and Tosan Evbuomwan ("He's not ready yet, we're monitoring his evolution day by day," Sekulic said about his shoulder subluxation), the latest negative news involves Josh Nebo, with an injury to the soleus muscle of his right leg that will sideline him for two to three weeks.

• Casademont Zaragoza: The entire team is available except for Jilson Bango.

• FIATC Girona: Maxi Fjellerup—who has not yet been able to train—and Isaac Vázquez will not be available for Girona's season opener, while Aljaz Kunc remains a doubt until the last moment.

• iLERNA Lleida: Atoumane Diagne underwent surgery after tearing his left anterior cruciate ligament and is out for the entire season. Meanwhile, an agreement to terminate Aurimas Majauskas' contract was reached this Thursday.

• KIDS&Us Manresa: Pierre Oriola and Timmy Allen are doubts for Manresa's season opener.

• Kosner Baskonia: Alex Len left the club this week, while Tadas Sedekerkis suffered a scare in the continental match due to a muscle strain, though he returned to the court minutes later.

• La Laguna Tenerife: With the exception of the long-term absence of Rokas Giedraitis, all Tenerife players are available pending two training sessions before the game.

• Leyma Coruña: Double doubt for Coruña's return to Liga Endesa: Tomas Dimsa (muscle soreness) and Paul Jorgensen (ankle sprain), pending their evolution to see if they can participate in the matchup.

• Monbus Obradoiro: With the recovery of Álex Galán (absent in the last preseason friendly), the only absence is Olle Lundqvist, who still has several weeks to recover from his injury. Additionally, Micheal Caicedo extended his contract with Obradoiro during the week.

• MoraBanc Andorra: Rati Andronikashvili, a recent signing, could make his debut with the Andorra squad, which despite some minor physical issues, has all its players available in principle for the opening game.

• Real Madrid: Long-term injured Usman Garuba (Achilles tendon) is the only confirmed absence. Additionally, in European competition, Sergio Llull, Nick Smith Jr., Chuma Okeke, and Max Shulga were left out of the roster.

• Recoletas Salud SPB: Vlatko Cancar, who underwent meniscus surgery this Monday, is out, as is Retin Obasohan, who continues his preseason recovery process. The rest of the squad is available.

• Río Breogán: Luis Casimiro will be able to count on all his players, including Andersson García, who joined a few days ago after resolving his visa paperwork.

• Surne Bilbao: "The team is working well," confirmed a satisfied Jaume Ponsarnau, able to count on all his players.

• UCAM Murcia: Howard Sant-Roos, who suffered a tear in the adductor magnus of his right leg, is the only confirmed absence for Sito Alonso.

• Unicaja: Tyson Pérez, Tyler Kalinoski, and Yannick Nzosa are the triple absences for Málaga.

• Valencia Basket: Yankuba Sima, Gonzalo Corbalán, and Lucas Marí were ruled out by Valencia for their EuroLeague game, still to be played.
