Jaime Pradilla Departs Valencia Basket After Six Seasons

Valencia Basket has confirmed that Jaime Pradilla will not continue with the club next season. The team thanks him for his professionalism and dedication during his six seasons with Valencia Basket

Spanish international power forward Jaime Pradilla has been released by Valencia Basket after the club paid the full amount of the buyout clause in his contract, as he has opted to pursue a different opportunity to continue his professional career. This concludes his stint with the orange and black after six seasons and 390 games with the club's first team.

During the season that just concluded, in which he signed a contract extension through 2028 last February, Jaime was one of the key pieces in winning the Liga Endesa and Supercopa Endesa titles, appearing in a total of 86 games with averages of 8.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2 assists for 12.1 efficiency rating.

The Club wishes to thank Jaime Pradilla for his professionalism, dedication and hard work during his time defending the orange and black jersey and wishes him the best in his future, both professionally and personally.

Six Seasons as an Orange and Black Player
Jaime Pradilla arrived in the city in the summer of 2020 from Casademont Zaragoza and has appeared in a total of 390 games, placing him sixth all-time in games played for Valencia Basket. His career average as a Valencia Basket player is 6.1 points and 3.8 rebounds for 8 efficiency rating, with exponential growth season after season.

During his time with Valencia Basket, Pradilla has won the Liga Endesa and Supercopa Endesa titles in the 2025-26 season. Additionally, he was named to the All-Young Team in the 2021-22 season and this summer was designated by the FEB as the "Best Spanish Player" at the VII Spanish Basketball Gala.

During his time with Valencia Basket, Jaime Pradilla has been a regular with the Spanish National Team, with which he achieved his greatest success by winning the gold medal at EuroBasket 2022. As a Valencia Basket player, he has participated in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the EuroBaskets of 2022 and 2025.

Historic Despite His Youth
Although he leaves Valencia Basket at age 25, Jaime Pradilla already ranks among the top in several all-time club records for the first team. In addition to being sixth in total games played, he is second in most EuroLeague games played in a Valencia Basket uniform (122) and eighth in Liga Endesa (216). He is also eleventh in scoring (2,385 points) and fourth in rebounds (1,488) in the all-time rankings.
