Kids&Us Manresa Defeats Asisa Joventut 78-84 in Preseason Victory

Kids&Us Manresa secured their second preseason victory by defeating Asisa Joventut in Sant Julià de Vilatorta in a game decided in the final quarter.

Dani Miret's squad made a strong start and scored the first five points of the game. Manresa quickly responded, mounted a comeback, and built a ten-point lead before a three-pointer from the opposition at the end of the first quarter (17-24).

In the second period, the Bages team extended their lead to fifteen points (25-40), but Badalona improved and managed to cut it to just eight points by halftime (40-48).

Coming out of the locker room, Joventut came out stronger, allowing them to first close the gap and then take the lead. At the end of the third quarter, a two-point advantage for Joventut (61-59).

In the final ten minutes, Diego Ocampo's team was more consistent and built a ten-point lead (70-80). Badalona attempted a comeback, but Manresa remained solid and sealed the victory from the free throw line.

On Sunday at 6:30 p.m., Kids&Us Manresa will play again in Sant Julià de Vilatorta, this time against iLERNA Lleida.
