Bulls in Control

The game went back and forth throughout the first half, with 18 lead changes and 14 ties overall. The Bulls went into halftime ahead (56-62) thanks to a half-court shot by Tre Jones at the buzzer. After the break, a three-pointer by Norman Powell with 4:57 left in the third quarter gave Chicago its largest lead (68-87).

A 22-9 Run to Get Back in It

That's when the comeback began. The Knicks closed the third quarter on a 22-9 run and entered the fourth down just six (90-96). Jordan Clarkson changed the game: he stole a Powell pass to set up a three-pointer for Landry Shamet and, on the next possession, intercepted Tre Jones and scored the layup that gave the Knicks the lead (114-109). They never relinquished it.
