For twenty minutes, La Laguna Tenerife couldn't find a way to stop Skyliners Frankfurt. After halftime, the Germans couldn't stop them. Jaka Lakovic's team posted a dominant third quarter of 38-14 that turned a 12-point deficit into a 12-point lead, securing a 94-104 victory in Frankfurt for their third win in four EuroCup games.
The first half belonged to the home team. The Skyliners imposed their pace with accurate three-point shooting and rebounding advantage, closing the first quarter up eight points (22-14). Tenerife struggled on offense: they made just 4 of their 18 three-pointers before halftime. Judah Mintz, who finished with 20 points, led a German team that went into the locker room with a 43-31 lead.
The quarter that changed everything
The response was immediate and overwhelming. Kyle Guy finally found the basket, Vince Hunter started dominating inside, and Tenerife's defense—which forces the most turnovers in the competition—suffocated the Skyliners, who scored just 14 points in the entire third quarter. By the end of the period, the score was 57-69.

The fourth quarter became a back-and-forth scoring affair. The Skyliners scored 37 points and attempted a comeback, but Tenerife answered on every possession and never allowed the lead to drop enough to put the game in jeopardy.
