La Laguna Tenerife remains in command of EuroCup Group B, though it required a hard-fought effort this time. Jaka Lakovic's squad edged Umana Reyer Venezia by one point at Santiago Martín after trailing early in the fourth quarter, extending their winning streak to six consecutive victories across Liga Endesa and European competition.
Reyer Warns from Three-Point Range
Reyer, which traveled without Kyle Wiltjer due to an ankle sprain, came out hot from beyond the arc and forced Tenerife to adjust its defense. The first quarter ended with a minimal Italian advantage (24-25).
Fitipaldo Takes Control
In the second quarter, Tenerife found its rhythm despite Doornekamp picking up his second foul early. The black-and-gold squad took the lead for the first time (32-27) and, with Bruno Fitipaldo orchestrating, went into halftime up seven (48-41) following a 24-16 run in that period.

Reyer Turns the Game Around

Lakovic adjusted his defense and his team regained a six-point advantage (60-54), but Neven Spahija's squad responded once again, took the lead (63-64), and closed the period with a 17-25 run that gave them an edge heading into the fourth quarter (65-66).
