After retaining much of the squad that secured promotion to Spain's top basketball division, Monbus Obradoiro adds its first new face for the upcoming season: Leo Meindl, a 33-year-old Brazilian international wing standing 2.01 meters tall.
Meindl spent much of his career in Brazil's first division before making the jump to Europe in the 2020/21 season to play two campaigns with Flexicar Fuenlabrada. He subsequently spent two seasons with Alvark Tokyo in the Japanese league.
Last season he returned to Spain to join San Pablo Burgos, where he appeared in 32 Liga Endesa games and averaged 10.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
