UCAM Murcia CB has reached an agreement with Marcis Steinbergs for the Latvian big man to wear the university jersey for the next two seasons, through June 2028.
Steinbergs, 24 years old and 2.07 meters tall, arrives in Murcia after completing five years at Kids&Us Manresa. This past season he averaged 6.4 points per game with a notable 35% from three-point range.
In addition to his ACB participation, he also has experience in European competition.
He stands out for his ability to space the floor, run the court, his tactical intelligence and his defensive commitment. His addition will bring balance and versatility to the university's frontcourt.
With the arrival of Marcis Steinbergs, UCAM Murcia CB continues strengthening its roster with a young player with proven experience in the Liga Endesa. He can play power forward and center positions and counts as a Basketball Champions League roster spot.
